BESA’s services include homemaking, companion, and personal care assistance; all services are available in the Hartford, West Hartford, and Bloomfield areas.

BESA accepts longterm care insurance policies, Medicaid, and private payment. Appointment schedules are tailored to meet the needs of each client.

Homemaking

Homemaking services may include vacuuming, dusting, mopping floors, bathroom care, making beds, changing linens, cleaning kitchen, washing dishes, cleaning refrigerator, laundry, meal planning and preparation, and shopping.

Companion Care

Companion services may include supervision of daily activities, reminder for self-administered medication, escort to recreational activities, accompaniment to appointments, assistance with phone calls and communications, accompaniment on walks, conversation, reading, and more.

Live in Care

Live-in care provides around-the-clock support, including assistance with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, grooming, mobility, and bathroom needs. In addition to these services, caregivers also offer homemaking and companionship while staying overnight in the home to ensure continuous care and peace of mind.
